Our annual toy give away event is an extension of our women empowerment programs designed to support mothers of all ages of children and their children.
Why do we do the toy drive
Many children, due to circumstances outside of their control, do not receive holiday gifts. WoMen of Connections Ministry works hard to provide every child with a memorable holiday season by collecting toys for children of all ages. This is a great opportunity to put a smile on a young and innocent face while serving families in need. WOC serves mothers of all ages and their children from zero to 18 years old, providing school supplies, Christmas toys, car seats, and others to serve with the spirit of giving. Last year we served approximately 200 children within our community.
Event Financial Cost
- $50 will provide a complete school backpack and headphones plus gifts to a secondary school student.
- $1,000 will provide food for the event.
- $1,000 will provide 100 students with headphones (beneficial to online learning)
- $1,500 will pay for the administrative support and rental space for the event.
- $5,000 will provide 200 secondary school students with backpacks with inserted educational materials.
- $10,000 will support the entire Annual Winter Educational Toys and Resources event
Currently Accepting Applications
We are currently taking the application for the Winter of 2023 for the Annual Toys Giveaway event. Take-out food will be provided to the parents/guardians who come to this event to collect the toys. No kids are allowed. Due to COVID-19, we are requesting participants to wears their masks. Gloves and mask will be provided at the entrance.

How can you support?
We are asking for your sponsorship for our Annual Winter Educational Toys and Resources program for December 16 and 17, 2022. Last year we serves 285 children with our local community. This year, we project to double the number of people that we served last year, preparing for 400 children. Kindly donate to this cause.
